Yes, in fact if ones only impression of Americans was based on this website you would think the US is much lower than 30th.

Yes, you have no idea how to spell such words as programme, realised, colour, ageing, capitalise, theatre, aluminium, metre etc. I see Americans making these simple spelling mistakes all the time, this should be your first priority.

Aluminium? That is how we spell it.

Re: Do you see the effects of the USA being 30th in the world in education?
I was educated in a state that always ranked low. When I went to college, I learned this was mostly because we didn't adhere to some national standards. (At that time, states could decide such things.)

After meeting some people from higher ranked states, I found out there were many things I was taught that they were not. Now, to be clear, we were all 18 at the time. They may have educated themselves later. And the curriculum of their states was certainly not under their control. They seemed to have more uniform skills (then), so perhaps that was the goal (then).

This has only gotten worse. It is planned. It has been perfected.

And, people outside of the U.S., it could happen to you as well. It probably already is. It is a gradual process enacted over decades.

One thing remains constant...

The more "educated" a person is nowadays, the more devoid of common sense they are. Colleges have become little more than indoctrination centers and propaganda factories.

And these brain-wiped imbeciles are totally convinced that they are geniuses, when in reality, they are nothing more than the NWO's finished product.

Re: Do you see the effects of the USA being 30th in the world in education?
the election show how dumb you fuckers really are

I knew 25 years ago we were in trouble, undergoing a systematic (and planned) "dumbing down" from cradle to grave.

But back then, people still had some "sense" about them. I wondered when it would really begin to show in day to day interactions, in real life, in the people you talk to, in how society orders itself.

And now it has.

Many of these people I encounter - many, I assume, are products of public education - and I wonder how they manage to tie their own shoes let alone run their lives.

I'll give some examples, and you can post your own:

- The average American has no common sense; they're sort of scatter-brained and seem to draw their opinions from a pool of convenient, media-provided cliches. They aren't able to think beyond those abstracts they draw upon to form their reality.

- Online, you may find enclaves of over-educated, pithy, witty types who love to show off their smarts (typically obtained by way 100k+ worth of student loans), but by and large the average internet "poster" comes across as having about a 5th grade level of education, low mental acuity and very poor grasp of English. Couple this with the Dunning-Kruger Effect, whereby they overestimate their own intelligence, and you have a scary combination of pervasive, over-confident, insipid, infantile ignoramuses barking out their opinions anywhere they can find outlet to voice them.

- Many Americans seem unable to grasp concepts that are not presented in the most dumbed-down manner possible. If they're required to engage critical thinking skills or perception beyond the most obvious or literal, they are unable to keep up. This is where environmental factors, intentional factors like Fluoride or vaccines, may be affecting IQ scores.

- Stupid people have always existed, but in the past maybe they had an idea of where they stood in the order of things, a sense of "place", i.e., "I may be dumb as a rock, but I'm smart enough to know I'm surrounded by people much smarter than me, so I better keep my mouth shut"; but now the Horde thinks they are running the show and we're supposed to listen to them, and hell, take their orders and submit to their demands.

- People have no shame anymore. None. No humility. The dumbest asshole will open his mouth, expect a cookie for stating his opinion, and he will be afforded deference even by his superiors because they are afraid of being politically incorrect.

- The "self-esteem curriculum" in schools no longer awarded the achievers, but rather allowed the lowest common denominator to enjoy a level playing field with everything else. Thus, a sense of honor, integrity, achievement went out the window; there was no longer any incentive to work hard for that, because you would still get a "gold star" for being an asshat or loser.

You seem rather intelligent and sharp, so I must ask why it is that you're still playing along with the political fairytale?

I agree with all of the talking points you've raised, but I'm truly curious how someone of your capability hasn't yet managed to figure out how the system actually operates.

While you're speaking of the dumbed-down society being incapable of grasping advanced concepts or utilizing critical thinking, I'm interested in how clever people are unable to think critically enough to realize that our system is a complete and utter failure, from the top down.

My asumption is that 90% of intelligent people are still unable to break the programming that causes them - regardgless of the information presented - to deny the fact that everything they've learned about how our sytem works is incorrect.

I've done the research, I know the facts. it's a numbing conclusion to come to and it's not pretty at all, but the truth is that the government will never work in our favor, ever. The system we're operating under cannot be fixed to benefit the people because it's thoroughly corrupted by people who control every aspect of anything important. The president has no power to make a change, because the president is not in charge. The same goes for congress.

See, I judge people's intelligence by their ability to be open to new ideas. When I talk to someone who claims to be "intelligent" yet they refuse to be open to the possibility that the election is just political theater, or that the idea of authority itself is nothing more than the result of psychological conditioning, I know they're not nearly as intelligent as they claim to be.

Instead of making this thread - although the thread is very true - you should be online, reading and researching about how central banks create credit slavery, how ALL branches of government and all media platforms are controlled, and how science and healthcare have been turned into rackets, and how impossibly fucked we are until we completely rid ourselves of the current system. See, there is no other option, and that's proven. While you're sitting here saying that the dumbing down is deliberate, you're failing to understand that you've still not seen the whole picture.

So, without sounding like an asshole, I think it's time that you take a break from judging others and start re-educating yourself. I've spent my whole life dealing with big business because I'm in marketing and so maybe that's made it easier for me to smell bullshit from a mile away, but I'm promosing you, from the bottom of my heart that your beliefs are incorrect and that changing the world we live in has nothing to do with political action and everything to do with knowledge.

It is not an old/young thing.

Young people have to deal with a worse educational system, but they have access to more information that will allow them to educate themselves.

Also, I see people who aren't young who have a lot of difficulty thinking. So, like I said, not an old/young thing. It is something else.

I am not really old or really young. But, I can remember when people were generally more on the ball. And I slip up in ways I never would have before.

America is run and owned by the wealthy Big Business Owners and the wealthy sellout scum politicians that they pay for and own. The Public School System is owned and operated by these people, it is the first form of government we are introduced to and at a very early age. Those wealthy owners certainly do not need to breed an intelligent population of critical thinkers who can not only question the screwing that they are all getting, but to have the capability of actually doing something about changing it. They need mindless consumers, dimwitted slaves who can do the dirty work and keep these wealthy elite living on easy street. It happens in every society ever created and it is at it's worst just before it all comes crashing down. Why do you think the sellout scumbags are going apeshit about importing mass quantities of stone age primitives into the country? Why to further dumb down the population while creating a class of violent minions that will keep the dumbed down population looking over it's shoulders rather than at those who are screwing us. It seems to be working as far as I can tell. Too bad...

Oh, Mexico 3302, you've gotten to the "there's no point to any of this" part of our self education experience.

I was there and kind of still am. Personally, a lot of extremely attention grabbing things have happened that made have to deal with this nonsense in the world.

I don't think we elect anyone, but I try because maybe I am wrong and it's not as bad as I thought.

Yes, this.

Primary education is nothing but indoctrination day care. Higher education consists of 1) a few elite colleges where the masters are trained, and 2) a lot of plebe colleges where the slaves are trained.

Parents have no idea what their children are being taught. They don't even know their own kids, and they don't care. They've just turned them over to the handlers, and think they've done their job. It is crazy. Just crazy.

The Useful Idiot.

Just crazy.

They're also too stupid to belive that what you're saying is true, even if the factual proof is in front of their face.

Denial 'til death. It's absolute insanity.

Re: Do you see the effects of the USA being 30th in the world in education?
I knew 25 years ago we were in trouble, undergoing a systematic (and planned) "dumbing down" from cradle to grave.

But back then, people still had some "sense" about them. I wondered when it would really begin to show in day to day interactions, in real life, in the people you talk to, in how society orders itself.

And now it has.

Many of these people I encounter - many, I assume, are products of public education - and I wonder how they manage to tie their own shoes let alone run their lives.

All of the above are good valid points. Throw in the fact Americans have a distorted view of their own meager history, they pretty much committed historical vandalism by pretending they aren't from British heritage when their whole culture shows they are. Then there is the Hollywood history they view as fact...dear lord what is wrong with these folks??

Take WW2 D-Day the British Commonwealth had more troops landing at Normandy than the USA, they were the first into action as well...not so according to Hollywood history lol lol.

Then there's the Flag, which is basically the British North American Flag with the same colours. Get a life people your country was founded by the British have some sense of being proud of your heritage. If not then you must pay homage to to the French as they had 500'000 troops helping you to a draw with the Parliament. A side show at the time as a world war was being fought across the globe.

So learn USA, learn about who you are.

U.K. 2064, I did learn all of that in school. Surprise.

We have a little more history that doesn't concern you. It is not as long as many places, but it still affects us.

Hollywood produces entertainment. They will change anything and everything if they think it will make more $$$ or be better propaganda. There are people who believe whatever they see even when it is ridiculous.

My travels have taught me that the U.S. is far lower than 30th in education. If you want to measure the effective inculcation of extreme ignorance, however, the U.S. is certainly vying for the top spot.
