Northern Idaho here... must have whipped thru here about an hr ago. We had lightening, thunder, heavy rain and then a big hail storm.

We're over 43 inches of rain since October. New record for amount of rain in the region. Most falls at night and the days are pretty sunny. Much different that past years when it would rain all day and clear at night.

Oregon has been raining buckets. I heard the humongous wind gusts come through here this morning, pretty scary.
I worried about trees coming down. I had a bad feeling when I woke up. :(

A couple days ago a 'large alder' came down on the road from Portland to Seaside, near Seaside, and killed a man in his car.
