Here in Australia I have given up watching television, especially the news because no matter what is happening in the world it will be pushed to the tail end of the program in some 30 second spot, if some sportsman has done something stupid, here in Australia.

We will have the report of the stupid thing the sportsman has done, then views from other sportsmen, views from sports commentators, then the press conference of the sportsman saying sorry to the other team members, the coach, his family and public.

Then 30 seconds of all events around the world, a fluffy piece about a dog eating birthday cake, then 10 minutes of commercials then back to the sports section of the news which goes over again the sportsman who did the stupid thing, then a minute of weather.

That's the half hour news done with.

So I don't find it surprising that foreigners or in this case Australians care or don't want Donald Trump elected, no balanced reporting of the US elections here, I think that's a shame because I believe this US election is a history making event.

I guess I have an interest as I do read about USPresidents and do have an interest in the American election process but boy did I get a doozy this time around with Donald Trump entering, he certainly shook up the establishment.

I cheered as he knocked out Bush, I feel more people here need to see who Donald Trump is and not go by the 10 second sound bite of him and go by the biased media here who just dismiss him as a clown, I think it's important for us, seeing we are close allies with America in our region.

Once here we used to get a fairly good coverage of the elections in America but now really nothing and I get sad that most Australians just don't care but I guess that is just coming from me who has an interest anyway.

But this lonely foreigner in Australia does want Donald Trump elected I think the outstanding performance and being ahead in polls shows this man is creating something great in the American voting public, I watch online all the Trump rallies and get all the news of your election and find it just as exciting as if I was there in the US.

Tragic I know but I believe all countries should have great leadership,,so I will be cheering on Mr Trump for all the Americans to get a leader who will lead America to being great again ...TRUMP 2016
