Being poor is a choice. Poor people spend their money on stupid shit and never have anything to show for it except trash. Poor people rent their home and the furniture inside it, they waste money on lottery tickets and live on credit cards that they can never pay off.

That isn't entirely true. Sure, it's a choice but in my situation I do just enough to keep my bills paid and I have zero debt. I just really value my free time over stuff and I contribute as little tax money as possible to the government because fuck them. It's not my job to support the leeches of society so I just live low income. But that is my choice.

Then you are broke but not poor. I'm a financial counselor, and not everyone wants to be a millionaire. Many people want to get out of debt, live minimally as you do, and are happy with that. I, as their counselor, help them achieve their dreams and goals.

Maybe cleaners are poor but that all depends some can earn $150 an hour for contract cleaning if self employed.
