This morning when I posted there was this closeup of a very adult momma bald eagle. One chick that had just hatched, and one egg with a crack in it. Momma was very excited. It was pretty cool--I love big birds. Had a guy who hunted with a trained hawk or falcon for rabbits down the street from my uncle when I was a kid. It was awesome to watch. The screech from that bird! Never forget it.
