US warns of al-Qaeda cyber threat?? There was no evidence to support the threat, officials said
[link to news.bbc.co.uk]
The US government has warned of an al-Qaeda call to attack US online stock market and banking services.

The threat, seen on an al-Qaeda website, applied to the whole of December.

It was said to be in revenge for the continued detention of suspects at the US prison camp in Guantanamo Bay.

A spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security, Russ Knocke, said there was no evidence to corroborate the threat.

He said the US Computer Emergency Readiness team had issued a "situational awareness report to industry stakeholders".

Heya, JayRodney$$$$$$$!

It'd be a nice way to flush away the derivatives scam, wouldn't it?

Somehow I doubt that it would be Al Queda doing the flushing, though...

Wonder if the stock market will be open today?

Building Seven

Conspiracy theorists frequently emphasise the collapse of Seven World Trade Center in discussing the controlled demolition theory. They cite several reasons for this. First, they believe the collapse displayed especially clear features of a controlled demolition. Second, they claim that since no plane hit the building, its collapse is even more difficult to explain than that of the two towers. Flaming debris did fall onto the building as a result of the collapse of the twin towers, but World Trade Center buildings 4, 5 and 6 remained standing despite also being damaged. [44] Third, in a PBS documentary on the collapse, Larry Silverstein, the owner of the building, said the fire department had decided to "pull it".[45] Although his spokesperson later said Silverstein meant that firefighters had decided to withdraw from the building and the surrounding area for their own safety[46], many conspiracy theorists insist that "pull it" is technical slang in the demolition industry for demolish a building. (Whether or not this is what the phrase means has become a point of dispute.)[47] The official investigation into the collapse is still ongoing (a draft of the NIST report will be released in early 2007). NIST said they had to prioritize their investigations and chose to investigate the collapse of WTC buildings 1 and 2 first, and then building 7.[40] The fact that the building housed the offices of government agencies like the CIA[48], the FBI, and the SEC, along with the City of New York's emergency command bunker has also fueled conspiracy theories.

Somehow they would like to make the citizens believe this dumb shit! It's the same here in EUROPE. Officials are telling that they already prevented a terrorist-attack towards 2 airports and a government bureau. Thanks to the advanced surveillance tools and intelligence agencies. WE NEED COMPLETE SURVEILLANCE, JUST IMAGINE WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITHOUT IT!!!!

PS: i have told you lately that i prevented the complete destruction of our galaxy in July 2004? Yes, I'VE DONE IT! How? I blowed into the direction of a sun-flower, just at the perfect time. This had the implication that our galaxy was save! Well, i can't explain the concept, too complicated, too long to describe here and now!

Hi Octo!!! Got off work two hours ago, it's real cold, got home and fired up my space heaters, hasn't even made a dent in the cold yet. I am afraid I could blow up my hard drive any second (cold can cause a hard drive platter crash).

But all this is inconsequential in the face of the coming dollar crash, lol.....

Since when does this current group of DECIDERS need evidence? They probably have a few think tank nerds working up phrases that they can use at the proper moment to keep the fear factor going.

They may be able to create a dos attack or mess up a few websites but there is no way they can touch our banking infrastructure. I'd be more concerned about a physical attack....

Any physical attack will not come from furriners...it will come as a false flag operation.
