Unexpected events overtake the swift, the mighty, the knowledgeable. But wisdom preserves alive its owners. The wisdom you have has taken time and pain to acquire. I say you're good to go. Larry D. Croc User ID: 70736097 United States 03/27/2016 03:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You CAN start over. From one who has done it...I've had a job I love (and which pays me well) for the last 15+ years. Remarried almost 8 years ago and am madly in love. Getting ready to retire the end of this year and looking forward to the next set of adventures. I'd start walking 30 minutes a day (cheap and it works). As others have said, you'll find out who your true friends are after the divorce and change in circumstance; the others will fall away or simply try to bring you down. Get out of the basement; it's a place to sleep and not a place to hide. Luck isn't needed, you've got what you need to accomplish what you want to accomplish. "Socialism only works in two places: Heaven where they don't need it and hell, where they already have it." Ronald Reagan The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so." Ronald Reagan |

All this will both physically and mentally take 20 years off you. As for jobs apply, apply, apply. Be creative in your emails. Sound energetic. Leave the date off as to when you got your degree. Only give last 15 years on your resume. Don't put date of birth on resume. People will assume your in your mid 30s in job applications. And once you get the interview you just need to wow with your experience and energy. And yes I've been through this in the last 3 years. Had exactly this advice; ignored it for a year whilst I felt sorry for myself; then followed it to the letter and within 3 months had a decent job and felt great; life is great met a nice woman. So yes, the only thing stopping you is yourself! Good luck mate! |

It's about your mind set. If you have a positive "can do" attitude you can do anything. Take a look at old Bernie. He is doing it right in front of you. 50 is where many people break out and accomplish huge success. There will be a time in the not so distant future when they will hunt Liberals with DOGS. Democrats vote for what benefits them while Republicans vote for what benefits the country. |

You might well enjoy at least some of the life extension technology in the coming decades, so yea, maybe take up some new hobbies get a quad copter or something. I would first thing find a job. Then while you are working to get money to move out of your parents basement, start working outo and get inshape, this will help you with the ladys. Then I would move out of my parents basement, after you have money. Then later either make sure your head is shaved all the help way, if that makes you look good, some men do some dont, if you don't look in to some hair transplants. Get over your wife, move on, the longer you have anger towards her or resent her the harder it will be. Once you start doing these things the better life will get. |

Whether it is yes or no depends on your mindset. Considering you probably have 25 good years of working life left I would say definitely yes. But no procrastinating. I am in my late 40's and am going back to college part time to get the qualification that will boost my income power immeasureably after years of low pay. |

With $5000 you could make 250-500 a day, you could also lose this amount or more, so training is very important. the cheapest and best training I have found is easyemini.com. it costs $80 for training to get started. You need a computer and internet connection. You can then practice for free and with no risk on a demo account untill you feel you are ready to trade live. This job is scaleable so you can add contracts as you get better. (it is as easy to trade 10 contracts as 1, but you need a larger aaccount. the account will build as you become more succesful. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23474647 .
