Jonathan Pollard will have to wait a little while longer to collect his spy pension from Israel

His Lordship Bibi Netanyahu thinks it's a bit too early to reward Mr. Pollard for his patriotic work in support of the Israeli state.

Patience, Mr. Pollard. You WILL be compensated for your suffering. Just have to let things cool down a bit.

Prime Minister Netanyahu’s office intervened on Sunday to prevent the advancement of a bill that would have required the state to fund the expenses of Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard for the rest of his life.

The measure, sponsored by Knesset House Committee chairman David Bitan (Likud), called for the state to pay Pollard a monthly stipend and cover his medical expenses and the cost of his housing, which, according to his parole conditions, must currently be in New York.
