I don't know if there is a gay gene or not, the science of the article is not conclusive, but I know it is not a "choice" to be born that way, not from personal experience but from the conversations I have had with gay friends and family. Those who claim that homosexuality comes from being abused or raped are the height of bigoted ignorance and homophobia. I'm glad to see that the true evil in the world of religious bigotry and intolerance is slowly but surely dying out. And if there really is a recessive gene for homosexuality in heterosexuals, they being gay will outlast being Christian! Fucking-A!
