The reason i say it's fine, is because the actual rate of change ie the rate at which technology improves and evolves in accelerating and has been for a while. After 3 years yet it really will be worth getting a new phone. Its not like the early 2000s when you could wait 5 years or the 80s when you could wait 10 yrs, or the 1950s when you could own something for decades before you upgraded. And besides they hold their value quite well indeed, all you need do after the 3 yrs is sell your old one. Now if you can't afford that then i have to ask what on earth are you doing on an Iphone contract in the first place... |

All these devices are spying on you, not just apple and they all come for big names in the USA who get money from the CIA/NSA. You every move is being recorded one way or another and all the data that at first glance looks useless is being feed into A.I system that are getting smarter by the day. |

Makes sense. Like a regular renewing of your vows to them. If you think a thread is important enough for others to read, go to page one and click on the green pin!!! |

The whole industry profits from our dick-measuring contest of who's phone is more up-to-date. Pathetic. A phone which the battery will probably go bad before then and you can change it out and then it cost you even more money and that's the reason why I buy Androids and I love it. |

Quoting: Kiwi 69475594 If your iPhone conks out after three years, you might feel shortchanged. But for Apple it's all part of the plan. On its website, the US technology firm admits it expects the mobile devices to last only 36 months. Its watches and iPads are also assumed to last around the same time. Owners of Mac computers can hope to eke out a fourth year of use. The relatively short lifespans come despite some steep prices: the iPhone 6s Plus is £789 and an Apple watch with a solid gold case costs more than £10,000 (NZ$20,512). A 27in iMac is £1,849 (NZ$3,792)." Source: [link to www.nzherald.co.nz] Built-in-obsolescence, cheap labour, marketing nonsense...and you Apple tards fall for this?! My Android made at the suicide firm FOXCONN-China conked out after a year- last one ill ever buy |
