Easiest fried chicken recipe here. Anybody can do it. Don't need KFC anymore. KFC clone!
18 chicken drumsticks

Mix 1 egg into a cup of water or milk. Poor it into a regular drinking mug.

Mix 1 cup of flour with 1 teaspoon of paprika and some salt and pepper. Mix it on wax paper or on a plastic bag. (Not inside the bag. Just on one side of the bag.)

Dip the chicken drumstick into the drinking mug that has egg and water mix.

Roll it on your flour mix. You can bend the wax paper or the bag to fit the chicken drumsticks.

Fry it in high heat for a few minutes. You can fry it with a shallow frying pan. Turn when one side is fried for awhile. Heat must be high when you fry so that the flour will puff.

Put it on a rack and bake it 400 degrees 40 minutes.

When it comes out of the oven it looks just like KFC fried chicken. You cannot even tell the difference.

Best and easiest fried chicken ever. Who needs KFC? You operate a restaurant right at home. Add salt pepper and other spices according to your own taste.

Heat must be high when fried so flour will puff. Looks just like restaurant fried chicken. When I first came upon this recipe I was thinking 'No way. Its too simple. Can I really clone a KFC chicken with this simple recipe?'

But the shocking truth is it comes out looking just like KFC. People are shocked to learn that I can make KFC at home. I bring this clone KFC to family pot luck and people thought that I bought it from a store like Popye or KFC.

Yes but buying 18 chicken drumstick on sale might only cost you $6. They charge you that much for 2 piece chicken meal at the restaurant.

Some rich people show off their cooking. Its not all about money. You have rich friends coming over for a party you need something to impress them. How about homemade fried chicken?

The price point on the food there has always been far above the fair market value.

The quality of "food" wasn't there to support the price

This is the main reason I never eat there. Not that I couldn't afford it, but rather I don't support it.

I have a recipe for fried chicken (or fish).

Mix flour, poultry seasoning, paprika, garlic, salt, and pepper into one bowl.

Mix flour, water, salt, and pepper into another to make a simple batter.

Wash and cut skinless boneless chicken into thin, flat strips. Dip each piece into the dry flour, then the wet, then back to the dry. Fry in oil until coating takes on golden texture.

I haven't had fried chicken in about 10 or so years. I'll give this a go one weekend. Thanks for the recipe. If you ever need the coleslaw one to go along with it, let me know. Tastes just like KFC hehe

This is truly the easiest recipe which I came upon and the chicken that came out of the oven looks just like KFC. You cannot tell the difference.

The only thing I did not teach is the amount of salt and pepper you should add. But thats your preference. You can also add your own herb inside the flour mix.

Wax paper or a large plastic bag is the best. Do not mix flour inside the bag. Mix it on one side of the bag like it is just a sheet of paper. Then when it comes the time to stick the flour on the wet chicken pieces, you can bend the wax paper or plastic bag to fit the chicken pieces. Save flour. Save time.

Re: Easiest fried chicken recipe here. Anybody can do it. Don't need KFC anymore. KFC clone!
kfc and other southern fried chicken shops use pressurised fryer so that the chicken cooks thoroughly, evenly and quickly.

if you fry chicken on the bone from raw using this method you risk food poisoning because the meat may seem cooked on the outside whilst remaining raw around the bones.

if you do want to try making your own southern fried chicken, use chicken fillets and ensure they are fully cooked through before serving.
