You know what, I like dgn's posts. I always used to assume evolution happened because they teach it in schools, but now I think there is something major thats being left out of the picture.

Dgn's posts are really making me question things more. Evolution is supposed to be an unguided process, yet evolution supposedly keeps producing all these wonderful creatures??

Saying "evolution did it" is as scientific or unscientific as saying "God did it".

intelligent design is a part of evolution. Evolution is more than likely an overblown concept, but the truth is too simple... life adapts, when it doesn't adapt it dies. The species that are alive today are the ones that had the right combination of natural characteristics to adapt at the right time to their local environs.

This doesn't have to take "god" out of the equation, it simply takes the "god" of the bible out of the equation since he supposedly created all animal life in one day, more or less (idk, I've never read the bible.)

Life itself is proof of intelligent design to me, yet evolution is just another word for adaptation which is absolutely unavoidable when the laws of the natural world are in play (and they always are.)

I'm sure people come to your threads and say shit like this all the time, I'm not expecting to have any real effect on ya.

God designed creatures with a limited range of adaption to adjust to environmental/seasonal changes but they never turn into a different species. Those that went extinct are not ancestors of current species, they're different species that went extinct. Every species reproduces according to it's genetic blueprints which makes turning into another one impossible. No new DNA blueprints have ever been added to any creature, cell replication errors produce mutations, deformed dysfunctional tumors which are often fatal.

Evolution did not do it, nature or natural means did it.

Also the environment creates, same goes for natural selection which supposedly creates novelty while its core value is selecting from what already is.

How was DNA created? Evolution can't explain it. Yay!

Quite a problem for the theory, being that DNA is coded on protein which cannot be assembled without DNA blueprints.
