if you have real money, buy property, but you gotta pay the tax man and its fucken crazy expensive, buy medical stuff, guns, ammo, water, food, anything that is a known commoditiy is a sound purchase, you can never have enough food, water and meds. i would suggest gold and silver anyways because it is way more valuable then any fiat currency and yes it is rigged and will be very valuable when society collapses

What do you want it for?

Bullion is not going to be very good in a conflict situation, it's only good for post conflict reconstruction..

The only ones that might be good are small precious metal coins like the British silver sixpence, small and easy to trade, it's not like you'll want to show you have large amounts of gold/silver and invite robbery..

everyday consumables are good.. toilet paper, booze, cigarettes, salt, pepper, sugar, feminine hygiene products, small handcrank USB chargers, all the things that will vanish from the shelves and be very much in demand.

Make money? could try some other valuable, the wealthy tend to shift their cash into property and art.. but again those are long term options.

invest in a new skill... medical, tailoring, carpentry, engineering, learn how to make your own tools..

Not sure I see anything for the short term money making bar playing the currency markets..
