The Meaning/Purpose of life

I believe the Lord recently showed this to me. Search it out yourself.

But the age old question what is the meaning of life? Why are we here?

I believe this is the key to the answer.

Luke 16:10-13

10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

This life is a test. The test is to put our faith in Jesus as our savior and to live righteously. Our life is the little that is given unto all of us. If we are faithful with that we will be gifted eternal life with Jesus. If we are not faithful with little (our lives) we will even lose that, hell.

Also there is another layer for those who are faithful to trust in Jesus and receive salvation. If you are faithful in what God has given you to live righteously and share the Kingdom your rewards in heaven will be greater than those who do not even though they make it to heaven.


Mathew 25:28-30

28 “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags.

29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
