How the fuck can an American University be in financial trouble when your insane gov't will give out un-secured loans to any 18yo idiot who wants an education?!? Whatever they Uni says is the cost, the gov't will pay it! Something isn't right with that situation....

With UNLIMITED STUDENT LOAN money for their customers to use to pay WHATEVER IS CHARGED.

With them able to SELL ALL OF THEIR PRODUCT, in fact they have a waiting list of people wanting to BUY their product.

With REVENUES per customer increasing at more than twice the rate of inflation for the last 30 years.

The ONLY reason that UC Berkeley has a deficit is because they are very very poorly run.

TIME TO CUT OFF GOVERNMENT GURANTEED STUDENT LOAN MONEY to these inefficiently run Universities AND to end the Bankruptcy Prohibition on Student Loans.

Let the FREE MARKET WORK LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO!!

Let the students be like any other consumer. Get a COMMERCIAL LOAN from a COMMERCIAL BANK if they want to borrow money to go to college ... and if they can't pay it back they can DECLARE BANKRUPTCY TO DISCHARGE IT just like any consumer or businessman can do.

This is supposed to be MINIUM wage. If you want money for a family and a mortgage you need to aim much higher.

Minimum wage jobs are not intended for people raising a family or holding
a mortgage. Minimum wage jobs are meant for entry-level workers such as
high school student, OR, low skill job categories.

If someone is trying to raise a family and hold a mortgage on $15 per
hour they need to have their head examined.

One thing is for sure... It is not society's problem.

Nor is it the responsibility of the business.

One is expected to manage their own expenses.

If you are not earning enough in a particular position, change jobs.

Its around $25,000 per student, per year. Grades K-12.
