Re: Warning! Yesterday the Earth's magnetosphere has collapsed for two hours
I have read (previously) that if the magnetosphere did collapse, there would be a SNAP - but the data doesn't show any "snap"

and it is hard to believe than no one even noticed

I am more inclined to believe that some device created to detect the magnetosphere failed ...

This should be super pinned. All the information appears to point to an anomaly in regards to the available data being collected and or recorded pertaining to the magnetosphere. Irrespective of the self proclaimed conspiracy sites and their associated catastrophic proclamations, this needs to be addressed by NASA. At this point 24 hours later Nasa has not acknowledged the event or data descrepancies, despite the fact multiple people on Twitter have been bringing this to their attention.

NASA did an event occur yesterday in regards to the magnetosphere or not?

That is physically impossible.
It would require the molten metal inner core of the Earth to solidify and/or for the Earth to stop spinning.

Some good info there, thanks! I am referring to the link for the book "The Lost Ways." If the mag collapsed there would have been 400 mph winds, so doubt that happened.

The following article in Italian language, would indicate that also yesterday, it was recorded an anomalous wave energy over NY and east coast of USA:

I feel it is somehow related that I have seen what looks like energy fields on the all sky cams yesterday. I saw a lot of weird things. I am unsure how to attach the screenshots.

No that happened in june 2007 - did you even read beyond the headline?
THEMIS launched earlier that year so clearly this is a common occurrence that hadn't been detected up till then because we didn't have the tech up there to monitor it. in fact magnetic reconnection happens all the time and on a small scale about once every 8 minutes so stop your bullshit fear about stuff you don't understand

Re: Warning! Yesterday the Earth's magnetosphere has collapsed for two hours
Deep within the Earth, a fierce molten core is generating a magnetic field capable of defending our planet against devastating solar winds.

The protective field extends thousands of miles into space and its magnetism affects everything from global communication to animal migration and weather patterns.

But this magnetic field, so important to life on Earth, has weakened by 15 per cent over the last 200 years. And this, scientists claim, could be a sign that the Earth’s poles are about to flip.

Molten metal inner core = Speculation

Earth stop spinning = possible

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea,

Re: Warning! Yesterday the Earth's magnetosphere has collapsed for two hours
Geologists hypothesize that the Earth's center is composed of predominantly iron. The outer portion of the center, known as the "outer core", is thought to be liquid iron. While the interior portion of the center, known as the "inner core" is thought to be solid iron.

This hypothesis is based upon two important observations. First, energy waves known as "shear waves" do not travel through the outer core. Secondly the Earth has a magnetic field.

A Geologist uses seismometers to measure shear waves caused by earthquakes. Once shear waves hit the outer core the wave 'disappears' and once it hits the inner core it reappears. Think of a shearing force as the force needed to rub your hands together. This sliding or shearing force cannot travel through liquids because liquids do not resist shear waves. Shear waves do travel through solids however. Therefore since we see shear waves disappear at the outer core and reappear at the inner core geologists hypothesize that the outer core is liquid and the inner core is solid.

Regarding the Earth's magnetic field, the Earth exhibits a magnetic field that reaches above our atmosphere. For a magnetic field to exist, either a permanent magnet must be in the Earth's interior, or ionized molecules are moving in a liquid medium in the Earth's interior. A permanent magnet cannot exist in the Earth's interior due to the high temperatures deep in the Earth. Therefore the magnetic field is thought to be produced by ionized iron moving about in the Earth's liquid outer core.

So, would the proximity of a large iron-based meteorite create a magnetic pull, causing the earth to drift/wobble?

So there is a two hour gap in the data which does not equal collapse.
It would be evident all over the place if it happened.
