Sober 1: a)sparing in the use of food and drink b)not addicted to intoxicating drink c)not drunk 2: marked by sedate or gravely or earnestly thoughtful character or demeanor 3: unhurried, calm 4: marked by temperance, moderation, or seriousness <a sober candlelight vigil> 5: subdued in tone or color 6: showing no excessive or extreme qualities of fancy, emotion, or prejudice So following these variations on the definition of the word, to be sober you should basically be moderate in all things, and not go to extremes either way. So breathing equals insanity?  sure if breathing is destructive for you, like an alcoholic drinking. i was hoping people could connect the dots....... not drinking with out the belief of a higher power = sobriety not drinking with a belief in a higher power = recovery turn that shit over, you are not alone, ask for help, it is a bitch but so worth it! |
