I've just had an idea for an optical device which enables you to type with your eyesight. What happens next? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28842139 if you have the engineering skills to design it, you upload the design to a site that patents it for you (it would be done fast) and then you could either sell to a company, or have people print it using 3d printers, downloading the designs to 3d printer would obviously cost money, and that money would be sent to your bank account. The 3d printer seems to be central in this New Economy, is that so? Also how many years are we away from having these 3d printer devices in our homes where we can buy stuff and print it out ourselves? yes 3d printers would be central, I don't know how many years, its a process, could take a few decades. the designs would easily be downloaded from the Internet, perhaps special site offering developers a platform to sell their designs on... kinda like application stores. |
