There's a difference. Endorsing implies others should do the same. Voting for implies vote as you choose. Why mention who he was voting for then? By stating who he's voting for he is endorsing them. Only dumbasses try to make such distinctions. Pay attention, it happens all the time. Many will say I prefer candidate x, but I'm not endorsing him. He never used the word endorse. Words have meanings. The media calling that an endorsement are not doing their job. He needs to be asked outright if that was in fact an endorsement. Yes, words have meaning. It's just that the politicians' meaning is different than everyone else's...
