I do my part by, giving Veterans and those still in service, a discount when they buy at my retail store. If I know that that a veteran is short on cash and can't afford a much needed product, I give it to them. I have handed out a good many products, mostly supplements for anxiety and stress, to veterans. Vote Trump if you really want to help our vets. I am all for doing our best to help those who have served to protect and defend us.

They are engaging those that the government, that you elected, are telling them to engage (or be lined up in a shooting gallery and not allowed to shoot back).

Some did...some didn't....Some were drafted and forced....and yes they were paid....I was paid.....909.00 bucks a month was my total pay before taxes when I got out in 1985.....If you really want to call that "Pay"...not much more than bubble gum money though...

Good post. The wars are rackets but the soldiers are our fathers, sons and brothers.

I eat breakfast with a vet every day and I make him pick up the tab.

Just be aware that if you do it, and it's nice to do, not all of them will be pleased. My husband gets really embarrassed by people doing it, and it's a point of pride he can afford to take care of his family, vet or not.
