fast food becoming more nasty

Who told Fast food places that we wanted to keep prices low? Raise the prices and serve real food, fast.

That's all they have to do. If they do this, and they're still not making money, it's because their recipes suck, not because we don't want to spend the money.

They may have to ultimately shut down their inner-city locations if they do this, but really...is that such a bad thing? I doubt it.


I'm already forsaking fast food places to get more expensive food from mom-and-pop operations.

It's the same in the U.K. Not just the american big chains but also the thousands of independent kebab shops, Indian curry houses and Chinese tale aways.

Take the kebab shops, they serve inedible tough lamb kebabs (but 1/3 of stores mix in cheap beef) and dry shit pita bread. All use industrial catering meat rather than local butcher meat.

Sad thing is most people don't care.

Pre invasion on the streets of Baghdad they allways served fresh sizzling lamb kebabs only issue tended to be wether they we pink in the middle or done properly.

Often the Chinese and Indians will use water and chemical injected chicken.
