Here, histories diverge. The mainstream view is that the “Titles of Nobility Amendment” (TONA) never achieved the necessary 13 ratifications—three quarters of the 17 states as of 1810—and fell further behind as more states joined the union. That ought to have been the end of it, says Jol A. Silversmith, a lawyer in private practice who has written the definitive account of the “missing amendment.” And so it was until the 1980s, when a conspiracy-minded researcher named David Dodge came across an 1825 copy of the Constitution including this provision. Further research led Dodge to conclude that TONA had been ratified by Virginia no later than 1819 and was an accepted, if largely unnoted, part of the Constitution from then until its mysterious disappearance around the time of the Civil War." There is nothing to this. Quoting: G. House Passing the bar is not a title bestowed by a foreign power. There is the American Bar Association. Bar exams are given by individual States. Just saying. Too bad it isn't true, lawyers are scum for the most part. The bar exam is not the issue, the issue is that in order to be a lawyer you have to be a member of the BAR, which stands for British Accreditation Regency, and in order to be a member of the BAR you have to hold the title of Esquire, which is a title of nobility to a foreign power. Why would lawyers need to be accredited by some organization in England? Why do you think lawyers deny the 13th was ratified and all but admit had it been they couldn't hold office or be citizens? You are a member of the Bar of the State you take your exam in. There is no official link to Britain. They can call themselves anything the want ie esquire. But there is no official title. You can be a member of the Bar in multiple States if you take their exams. You are not accredited in Britain. You can't go there and practice law unless you pass their Bar. Tread and concept is a croc. True, a lawyer must pass the Bar examine in the state(s) he practices law, but he must also be accredited and registered by the British Accreditation Regency which is located in the City Of London sovereign enclave and is not a part of the UK. It is part of the "Crown Of England" which is nothing more or less than global bankers union, which has zip to do with the queen or royalty. It all a deception. And yes, all lawyers practicing law in the United States must be accredited and registered with the Crown of England, the United States being a corporate holding of said "crown", which is actually just a group of international bankers. All government agencies in the United States are also corporations in their own right, for instance the IRS is a corporation and so is the FBI, the CIA, the Justice Department and so on. |

The Thirteenth Amendment (Amendment XIII) to the United States Constitution abolished slavery and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for a crime. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55214158 [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] The Titles of Nobility Amendment is a proposed amendment to the United States Constitution. It was approved by the 11th Congress on May 1, 1810, and submitted to the state legislatures for ratification. It would strip United States citizenship from any citizen who accepted a title of nobility from a foreign country. On two occasions between 1812 and 1816 it was within two states of the number needed to become a valid part of the Constitution. Congress did not set a time limit for its ratification, so the amendment is still pending before the states. Ratification by an additional 26 states is needed for this amendment to be adopted. Idiot I have been criticized for bragging about my intelligence but I think it is only fair to mention that it is always after such a comment as this that I state the facts. Judging by your comments, your vocabulary, your failure to reason or exhibit any level of critical thinking skills, and you reliance on personal insults as a method of debate, it is highly unlike that you have an IQ above room temperature, and certainly no greater than a number 40-50 points below my own. You are calling a man that tests repeatedly in the top tenth of the 99th percentile an idiot, and you're stupid enough to believe it will help your agreement. As a rule the first person to rely on ad hominem type personal attacks has lost the debate and is aware of it, as is everyone else. Whether or not the 13th amendment was ratified or even if lawyers are noblemen of a foreign power isn't really pertinent, what is in most people's view is that it is readily apparent there is something seriously amiss with the government and the government is made up almost exclusively of lawyers. And that is what you are totally missing, if there was not a problem with lawyers this debate wouldn't be happening. |

So what is the basic underlying problem with the legal system and the government? When 85% consistently express great dissatisfaction and claim the government doesn't represent them in what is supposed to be a representative government, a problem exists. So what is that problem? I think it's fairly easy to see what it is, that the government and specifically the courts have set themselves up to be a separate over-class of the people with special rights and privileges that the rest of us do not enjoy in direct contradiction of the most basic founding principal of a constitutional republic, equal protection and representation under the law. It is obvious these lawyers have no real loyalty to the people who make up the country, who defend it's borders, who create its wealth, who produce its needs and who do its labor. The government has become a parasite, and the government is made up of lawyers. SO obviously lawyers have something to do directly with the problem, and tat problem is self evidently loyalty do a power that does not respect the rights and needs of the people of this country. |

"The original thirteenth amendment got in the way of British bribes to government officials. These bribes were eventually to secure British control over the United States once again; but this time; through the establishment of the foreign-controlled Federal Reserve, and it's privately controlled subsidiary organization, the Internal Revenue Service. In fact, it was through such bribes and an act of arson to destroy records, that the ratified thirteenth amendment was gradually obfuscated. That is why the heads of the Federal Reserve have been Knights of the British Realm; US presidents have been British Rhodes-Trust controlled agents, and why we now have a "President" (Barack Obama) who is technically a British citizen (he admits his father was a citizen of a British colony.)" However ... "There has been a lot of discussion over the years about the fact that this Amendment was established to prohibit members of the BAR Association from participating in government offices. If that were the sole purpose for this Amendment it is wasted energy. Our Founding Fathers were much more straight forward than that. No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been encreased during such time: and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office. - Article I, Section 6, Paragraph 2 - Constitution for the United States of America This provision was established to maintain the clear dividing line that had been drawn between the three branches of the government. "Admitted to the Virginia bar in 1765 after more than two years of reading law under the tutelage of George Wythe, Jefferson practiced before the General Court in Williamsburg, specializing in land cases. By the time Edmund Randolph took over his practice in 1774, he had handled more than 900 matters, with clients ranging from common farmers and indentured servants to the most powerful and wealthy of the colony's planter elite. In Bolling v. Bolling (1771) and Blair v. Blair (1772) he became involved in the private, often sensational affairs of the gentry, while in Howell v. Netherland (1770) he attempted to win the freedom of a mixed-race man he believed to be illegally bound to servitude. Jefferson was influenced by an English tradition distinguishing between common law—a tradition preserved by courts through precedent—and natural law, or rights ordained by God." Ummmm, you might want to read a biography, not only did he pass an exam, he used the title of esquire throughout his life, including the presidency. Primary documents, such as correspondence by himself and to himself prove he used the title. |
