voting continues regardless of you suspend your bid, or if you quit.
each state GOP will select who is on the ballot. even if trump is only one still running, that just means he is the only one that cant hit the 1237.
if he for some reason does not, each state has rules on how their delegates have to vote at the convention.
reason why cruz and Kasich both dropped out is because trump needs 200 out of the remaining 500 delegates.
pretty much a sure thing for him to hit that.

so in short... candidates have delegates pledged to vote for them at the convention. they do not get taken away unless there is nobody hitting 1237
