Our consciousness is three things.


Conscious self

Sub conscious self (inner child)

Higher self

Conscious self can not communicate with higher self. Only the sub conscious can communicate with the power at the higher self.

Our real desires and fears are given to the higher by the subconscious without our input. Unfiltered.

This creates the internal struggle and causes our mind to "play tricks on us" as we try to trick it back.

Hmm, when I did the reiki training and atunement was told those blockages would be removed with clear channel to Higher Self. I do not practice enough though to keep it clear. It did change things a lot. I do "Think" I "talk" to HS consciously when I am in the right space. I know a lot of hippy dippy energy types who work with all sort of things they are developing to mess with the brain. Had this one thing done that f'ed me up so bad it took days to recover...yet I want to have it done again : ) It rearranged and eliminated some gunk. Felt like brain was fracturing during it.

It's the battle between thought and emotion. The mind doesn't really speak the higher selfs language. Not natively at least. The subconscious is fluent in a language the higher self knows well.
