Reflection from gas of whether balloon can be checked off its not that

Checked east, cloud cover has eased and the bightest light at the moment is apparently mars as it is moving closer to earth and becoming brighter. It has an orange glow which is different from the other night objects that are more in a white light.
I will keep checking.

I sein two redish orange one more red then the other as well

Moved across sky after then the stars too

Could be the Eta aquarid
Meteor shower happens every year and best time to see it this year was may 6/7.

Mybe just odd ever pic different and some have great detail designs if look close some have black spots idk just thought would share

I did not see a moving object, so it must be local in your area at this stage.

No way was local moved across entire sky east to west on the 6th and 7th guess and 8th later uploads were this morning afer midnight

On the 6th did see a tiny triangular spec the was lil longer in length moving quick lost view after maybe 3 seconds by the bright obeject when first noticed was higher then flying thing I ever sein barely noticed it from the object

Every thing upload or text is true and witnessed with the eye

I tied take pick of the moving triangular spec but couldn't find on phone

I saw this last night in Okeechobee. It does look like it has "wings" of some sort. I don't know what it is. I hope it's normal.

OP, great thread. Not local, East Coast here and I spot this object and the 2 companions easily. In Atlanta, it is in the SW night sky, brightest object BY FAR. On cloudy nights, it is often the only visible object in the sky--sometimes when the moon isn't even visible. Keep documenting and photographing.

It does seem to morph into different shapes. I didn't really know what direction I was looking, as I wasn't in my own town (had been gambling in Okeechobee :) but it was quite noticeable. It's dark out there, and this was so bright that it had an aura.

That article talks about it transiting the sun during the day... how do you know this is mercury in the night? If it is, then great! Question answered! I just would like to be sure.

It's not murcery there are pics of mercury with the sun out

Hmmm, interesting, I can only see the one large object which I belief could be mars, but not mercury. If it can be seen from east and west coast of usa then it must be significant object in size.

It is NOT Mercury, just read the article. Talks about a rare crossing this weekend. This group of objects have been present long before this weekend's Mercury crossing.

At the moment mars appears in a golden colour looking east in australia. It is very bright and there is only one other object of the same colour about one hands width to the right, all other objects appear white in colour.

Was bright what first caught the eye then looked like if three circles were in a line but conect

So that's when took pic

Thought eyes were playing trick

No altering and just how different all the pics are and some way more different

Flickered at time and seemed glow brighter at some point was just bright to the eye don't notice color cange until seen pics

Tonight will try location Mars take pics and the bright object have bein taking pics of

I agree, awesome documentation OP. Keep it up. There are many threads here regarding the same object by people of different backgrounds, educations, and locations. They are quickly shilled to death however.

I know this object, it has been getting brighter/closer for a long time.

I have some pictures of it at different times of the year that show that it is even brighter than the spotlight on my back deck and brighter than the light coming from my neighbors lit windows.

I've been away from home for a little while. I'll see if my wife will get on my computer and upload them for me.

Mars is easy to spot. This isn't Mars.

OP, if you get a chance search for threads about incoming celestial object and bright object in the western sky. You have to sort through a lot of garbage but there are good observations from real people in them.
