I probably trust government less than the majority on GLP. I have studied this conspiracy since 2009 and conclude the folliwing:

1) any G20 nation on the earth has the ability in money and resources to effectively alter the climate. The most likely are the US, Canada and Russia.
2) there are governments and private individuals who have studied (for years) the strategies to Geoengineering the climate.
3) there may have been some small scale tests to see if the strategies might work.
4) it is not illegal via treaty or law to conduct Geoengineering.
5) Geoengineering has been computer modeled and found to be very risky first by LLNL and later by others.
6) Effective Geoengineering would occur only high in the stratosphere probably over 55,000 feet except for one approach that I have studied.
7) none of these strategies include persistent trails in the sky that would be visible from the ground injected into the troposphere by aircraft.
8) all reasonable evidence and known scientific principles indicate the persistent trails in the sky are simply persistent contrails and contrail triggered cirrus cloud banks.
9) air traffic has increased 1000% since 1970, engine efficiencies and cruising altitudes have increased as well; all of which increase the incidence of persistent contrails.
10) the regulatory agencies and the aircraft industry have refused to take any practical actions to reduce persistent contrails, instead choosing to save money and reduce greenhouse gasses.
11) the Chemtrail conspiracy (using persistent contrails as their evidence) is basing their credibility on misconceptions and misidentification.

No that is not all. People who insist the contrails seen in the sky are there to intentionally hurt people are inciting people to make threats of violence against innocent people.

After 911 when ALL planes were grounded we were chemtrailed here. Two 'planes' flew back and forth turning the spray on and off forming a huge checkerboard in the high sky. Others watching this realized that the chemtrails they had been laughing at were real. I posted this the day it happened here on GLP.

I love this stuff! He's spraying an acidic solution into the air around his house, that will make the soil more acidic which will result in more aluminum ions being released from the soil which will result in poor plant growth and then he will blame the "chemtrails" for the dying plants.
