Florida is really like three states culturally, north, central and southern.

I agree. I used to live in New England where the same land mass size is broken down into several states. I back home in Northern Florida now - and this might as well be Vermont compared to RI down south. Not quite the same - but you get my drift.

For some reasons northern parts of states are always better than southern ones

When I drive down to Destin or Panama City, , northern Florida is like just a continuation of south Alabama. The people and culture are very much like here in Tennessee. Great place to vacation because I'm in my element there. Besides we are all free States where we can exercise our most basic human right to go armed since all Southern States recognize and reciprocate on that.

Destin is great, seafood is awasome there, beaches a re crystal clear, unlike in South Beach (dark brown)

Well, most of the people in South Florida, are not from Florida at all. Yes, the Miami area types have a disproportionate representation of assholes.

Grew up on the 'Treasure Coast' during the mid-late 80's. Coming from the north, most of the kids were scum with little honor. Don't really count many of them as being good friends. Don't think many of them had the capability of true friendship. Growing up in working class areas in the north east, never had to worry about my friends stealing from me in the middle of the night during a sleepover. This was actually common in Florida. I imagine most of the creatures I encountered there are in prison now. Florida is a cesspool of narcissistic culture. You would be an idiot to raise kids there. Also the schools sucked.

I moved to Navarre last Fall and love it. It's mostly White, I don't have ccrs on my parcel, low crime, etc.

Our beaches are the best along the Gulf Coast, clear, blue water, white sand.

Twenty five years ago I lived in Ft Myers Beach and the water was brown.

This area is growing, but places can still can be found cheap, but once Amtrak connects Jacksonville to New Orleans it will change even faster.

Don't worry they'll be attempting to transform and destroy your area shortly as well...
