No speaking of Jesus Christ. All pomp and ceremony. Exclusivity on denying those not a member of the Catholic church to take communion. Incense burning - all a stage act like it was a service to the underworld. read about it... it IS a service filled with blasphemy. Be educated about what or who you serve. This applies to Muslims also. Know what and where your "religion" comes from and how it was created. Your ignorance has Eternal consequences |

Incense is burned at special extra-long services on holy days only a few times a year. The incense is symbolic for our prayers going up to Heaven. You know how in the Bible God says our prayers are like sweet incense to him, and the prayers of the faithful in revelation actually become incense? No speaking of Jesus Christ? That's such a bald-faced lie that anyone who has ever actually been to Catholic mass will laugh at. If you're not Catholic why do you want to take communion? If you do believe it's the body of Christ then become Catholic. All pomp and ceremony? Which part? The three Bible readings? The homily (sermon)? The transubstantiation when we believe Jesus becomes present in our midst? The Lord's Prayer? The apostle's creed? The sign of peace? The prayers of the faithful? The songs? Do you just think there aren't any Catholics on here who will call you out? |

I consider that scene just more of the anti-Christian propaganda you see everywhere today. All Christians portrayed as scared, mindless, zombie-like idiots blindly following their pastor who promises them eternal life and freedom from guilt in exchange for their money. As a Christian, If I ever encountered a religious denomination portraying anything resembling that movie clip I would run away and pray for the souls of those involved. Fortunately I have never encountered such a cult-like religious denomination. |

They pray before the functions. The pray to every saint you can think of, but no mention of Jesus whatsoever. I went to funeral at a catholic church a few months ago. It was freaky. Huge statues (idols) of Mary and someone else, Peter I suspect. And the freakiest thing was the pyramid with the all seeing eye just under the alter at the front of the church. Freaked me out. |

I don't see the reason for it, nor understand it. Whatever makes them happy I guess. I like to ask sometimes when they are bringing out the cats or whatever for sacrifice lol, it doesn't go over well. |

A house of worship is for praying. Quoting: Amazng1 A few years ago, I started attening a modern day Baptist Church. On my first attendance at a service I was floored. Had no idea what to expect......I felt like I was at a Rock Concert. There was no Sacred Hyms & everyone had their hands up in the air, eyes closed & talking or babbling???? The sermon by the Pastor didn't even sound religious at all. I grew up in the Catholic Church, so this was a very different scene for me & I just could not adapt to this kind of service. I actually like the Reverance & Sacredness of Real traditional Hyms & the Batpist Church was missing all that. |
