I'm a 'paraplegic' and wouldn't even think about using those 'scooters'.

I do not have handicap plates and I do not park in those handicap parking spots even though I have a permit to do so.

I park all the way down at the end of the parking lot so that my car doesn't get 'door dinged' from the assholes that park next to me.

I'm in a wheelchair but I have enough movements to be able to drive with my left leg, it's just not enough back that I can walk.

Most all people that I ever seen that use these services and 'privilages', are very overweight. Some are not even what I would call very overweight.

The whole system is being taken advantage of and it is only hurting those that really need it.

It is a good concept on paper but it is corrupted by all those that will corrupt.
