It packs the kind of Trump-esque mainstream punch that may have the presumptive GOP nominee salivating. He recently declared, “We’ll whip out that book because that book will become very pertinent.”

Wait. There is a familiar name there. Julie Tauber McMahon. Leave it to the New York Post to hit the lede the WSJ buried:

Bill Clinton’s foundation arranged a $2 million pledge to a power company partly owned by a wealthy blond divorcée — who some say is the frequent visitor to his home nicknamed “Energizer.”

Hmmm. Why would a wealthy blond woman who is a frequent visitor to the Clinton’s double-wide in Chappaqua be code-named “Energizer” by the Secret Service?

As a long time (former) resident of Chappaqua...I knew the lady in question slightly. Everyone in town pretty much knew that she was bangin' Bubba. People didn't talk about it, out of consideration for her 3 kids, who were all the the time still in the school system. Often, I'd go for an early morning jog, and pass her house, and you'd see the two USSS black SUVs parked in the driveway, with several agents standing around talking and smoking.

The real issue here is how she got involved with the company in the first place. She has ZERO knowledge, or background, in energy matters, other than her soubriquet...so those dots need to be connected..Why was she handed a piece of this company?

Clinton Global Initiative Shows Signs of Waning Appeal

In all, at least six major corporations that sponsored previous Clinton Global Initiative meetings didn’t make cash contributions the event this year.

They include global banking giant HSBC PLC, which in 2014 donated $1 million to the conference, accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers and electronics company Samsung.

Others include Exxon Mobil Corp., Dow Chemical Co. and Deutsche Bank AG.


Shannon Schuyler, a spokeswoman for PwC, said the company made earlier this year a $30 million extension of a previous commitment through CGI.

The “commitment” to Julie Tauber McMahon’s firm from the Clinton Global Initiative was placed on its 2010 conference agenda at Clinton’s urging, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.

McMahon owns 29 percent of Energy Pioneer Solutions, which was given the money to make people’s homes more energy-efficient.

The fit, blond mother of three, who lives just minutes from Bill and Hillary Clinton’s home in Chappaqua, West­chester, is the daughter of Joel Tauber, a millionaire donor to the Democratic Party.

McMahon, 54, is rumored to be the woman dubbed “Energizer” by the Secret Service at the Clinton home because of her frequent visits, according to RadarOnline.

Secret Service agents were even given special instructions to abandon usual protocol when the woman came by, according to journalist Ronald Kessler’s tell-all book, “The First Family Detail.”

“You don’t stop her, you don’t approach her, you just let her go in,” says the book, based on agents’ accounts.

“Energizer” reportedly timed her arrivals and departures around Hillary Clinton’s schedule.

McMahon has denied in reports having an intimate relationship with Bill Clinton.
