It's entirely dependent on the laws of the States you're leaving, going through, and arriving at. If the State you're going to doesn't have draconian laws and doesn't require registering one of the best options is having a registered dealer in your State ship them to a registered dealer in the State you're moving to. Of course you could pack them deep up front in the trailer. Don't get involved in anything stupid on the way. Obey the traffic laws. "Everybody lies." |

No planned lay-overs or transport delays happen. 2. The ammunition and the gun are is very separate spaces of the vehicle. |

If you are that paranoid, buy a gun safe, bolt it to the floor of the trailer and then move. If they are YOUR GUNS, and you aren't traveling through Vermont, New York, California, or any other liberal la la land... Don't be that worried about it. Trouble occurs IF you are Moving someone else, and THEY pack THEIR guns and don't tell you. Even then, it would be rare for the po po to do much more than confiscate them. |

I'm not sure why you included Vermont. Despite being a very liberal state, it is very pro 2nd amendment. You won't have any issues traveling through the state with firearms. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12205173 Some of these are antique guns, some just household guns. I believe you can still get moving insurance. Lets go Brandon!! What doesn't kill us...makes us more interesting Either you live for something worth dying for....or you rot away and die on the installment plan quote: Mr Bill when I post something....I will remove any post I find disrespectful or offensive..... |
