If you're working more than 40 hours a week you should get paid overtime.

If the employer doesn't want to pay overtime then they hire someone else.

People like Paul Ryan seem like they're out to destroy the Republican Party.

Hey Paul. Instead of worrying so much about how to screw over employees so much. Why don't you worry about all of the red tape involved in people starting their own Businesses and then cut down other barriers like simplifying the tax code so that anyone can start a business and hire people without having to employ someone to do the paperwork for them. The tax code should be simple enough that a Business employing less than 10 people doesn't need outside help to get the various government fees/permits/taxes in order.

Try to find a way to make running and owning businesses simpler.

Back to the issue,

This is about the 40 hour work week and getting chiseled after working more hours. The work week used to be 10 hour days, six days a week, TILL GOVERNMENT STEPPED IN.

I'm not on the low end of the totem poll, but have been there. I know what it is like to get shat upon.
