This is true. A number of refineries are on strike.

Can confirm the gas shortages, at least in southwest France. Other areas seem to be less affected.

Shortages are due to delivery and supply chain issues, not immigration.

There is however a growing social movement and unrest due to 1) immigration issues 2) the continuing state of emergency 3) the new controversial labor law and 4) Frenchness

I like that statement. I'm continuously amazed and sad how most people I know are revealing themselves as the latter.

EU migrant deal at risk? Greek judges rule Turkey 'unsafe' for refugees

The EU-Turkey migrant deal has suffered a blow - after a Greek court set a precedent, by ruling against sending a Syrian asylum seeker back to Turkey. Judges deemed the country 'unsafe' - saying that there were no basic human rights there and noting also the risk of being illegally sent back to Syria.

However, conditions for migrants in Greece have also been slammed - by human rights groups.

If people actually woke up they'd be huge in numbers and all the cabal would be in the dungeons they deserve!

I see that happening every day, that's one of my manifesting intentions.

Im from Paris south area (Essonne),a lot of stations are closed or under restriction (20 EUR ). The government is trying to downplay but people are starting to panic. For the moment, 6 refineries are blocked (on 8) and it will last til the end of the week.
The worst scenario : the government sends the police/army to reopen the refineries,and they kill or seriously wound a protester ding the action -> riots.

This as nothing to do with migrants etc its about a new law that whants to fuck us and dont paye extra hours of work

Queues were reported at petrol stations in many areas of France, especially in the north and west, but in Paris too.

However, the transport minister said it was wrong to talk of petrol shortages.

For the past week, protests have taken place across France after new labour rules were forced through parliament.
Prime Minister Manuel Valls invoked special powers under the constitution to avoid a revolt by dozens of Socialist MPs earlier this month.

Metro, bus and RER rail workers in Paris have been urged to join a strike by the powerful CGT union from next Thursday (June 2nd) in protest against the new labour laws as well as their own working conditions. No end date for the walk-out has been set.

From Tuesday and throughout the rest of the week, a new wave of strikes and protests is set to throw France's transport system into chaos.

Thousands more petrol stations are nearly empty as rolling strikes and protests against controversial labour reforms continue to cripple France’s economy.

The chaos could continue during Euro 2016, as protestors refuse to back down and transport workers also threatening to go on strike during the competition.

French workers blockaded oil references and depots yesterday in protest against the sweeping changes enforced by the French government.
