Target Boycott Preps 2nd Phase

Did anyone consider the fact Walmart is so intertwined with the federal government that perhaps the government is pressuring Target to do this in order to collapse Target and build the Walmart empire to be stronger? Target failed in Canada. We saw how quickly that fell. Maybe that was an experiment to see how fast they could take down the corporation...

If this were the case then target should stand with the people and say no...they aren't so this isn't the case...I just wish people would do it to all large corporations that stand against the people or use products that are killing people instead of picking and choosing...if we did the same in politics we might stand a chance of getting our freedoms back instead of just shutting down x1 corporation...

Our neighbor works at Target, and she said that she's only noticed a slight decrease in the shopping clients in the mid-morning, to early afternoon hours,, which doesn't surprise me, as that when most Moms with young children would be shopping. But, what surprises me is that she said there hasn't been any noticeable decrease in the amount of Muslims shopping at the store. I would think that they would be the first to be boycotting this store in the wake of the obvious infringement of a woman's dignity and privacy.

The “Benedict Option” refers to Christians in the contemporary West who cease to identify the continuation of civility and moral community with the maintenance of American empire, and who therefore are keen to construct local forms of community as loci of Christian resistance against what the empire represents.

I don't think any of those people were shopping there in the first place.

Stockholders may have sold shares in the company, but from what I'm seeing sales have remained the same, so this boycott has had little to no effect on Target.

None of these boycotts by Christians ever work because there aren't enough of them left.

Target just sent me a letter saying they raised my credit limit by $700 dollars haha, still not shopping there fuck you!

No additional laws were needed here. There was nothing stopping a rapist from pretending to be a woman and entering a women's restroom before this and rapists don't follow laws to begin with.

Laws banning trans people from restrooms doesn't do a single thing about rape. If they did, I'd gladly support the law, but this is really just about using fear to perpetrate hatred for a lifestyle you don't agree with. Laws don't stop rape.

And to be honest, I'm all for people being allowed to hate trans people, if that's how you feel. And you can boycott whatever you want. That's your freedom. But, it's also their freedom to use whatever restroom they want or to decide the restroom policy in their own store. You can have whatever opinions you want in your private life, but you don't get to enforce those feelings on the public.

Relax Francis. Target will go down the toilet within a year or so. Remember how quickly they went bust in Canada? The people that are and will boycott them spend a big chunk of coin there and represent a bigger slice of sales. I know some people that spend $500 - 600 or more a month there.

Well, ISIS is obviously a more extreme version of Islam and they would almost certainly have a problem with trans people. Most Muslims don't, however. In the same way that not all Christians agree with shooting up abortion clinics or protesting military funerals. Every denomination is different.

The note could say something like, "Sorry, my little girl needed to go to the bathroom. We only feel safe at home or at WalMart."
