this current teen generation is exceptionally low in testosterone

I'm a contractor and I had to work on a high schools piping systems last week. In the school of over a thousand students I didn't see one complete beard. I didn't see one jock. I didn't even see a good set of sideburns. All the boys were short and the tall boys were no more than 5'9" which was average in high schools 15 years ago. I felt like I was in a grade school. Most of the boys in this high school looked like their bodies were void of testosterone. There was no muscle in the entire school for what I saw.

A few months ago I was looking at my old high schools football pictures online and I looked at this past year's team football photo. All the football players were wirey and skinny and boyish looking. I saw that the star player was 5'8" 145 lbs. 18 years ago when I was in high school a 5'8" 145 lb football player would be put in a hospital by all the big powerful men on the opposing team. So in comparison of 18 years ago my old team football photos compared to the current one it literally looked like my team was the literal fathers of the current team. All the stars were over 6'2" and all starters were minimally 200 lbs and most players sported some sort of facial hair. Back when I went to high school a beard was common. I'd remember in 8th grade the teacher was questioning us 8th grade boys how we all had goatee sideburns and mustaches at such a young age.It was common to have facial hair in 8th grade. In fact a kid I knew had a full beard in 4th grade. But today not even a senior can put together a good looking beard.

Just seemed like 20 years ago 18 year olds were fully developed men commonly mistaken for 25 year olds but today's 18 year old can easily be mistaken for a 15 year old. Bizarre! Anyone else notice all of this?
