Just out of curiosity, what church(es) is it that is teaching that all the dead are sleeping?

It seems a lot of people believe that.

Unless he repented? No. It was by Solomon's actions, that Israel was divided, because of Solomon's wickedness, in leasing members of the Norther Tribes, into indentured servitude amongst pagan nations, to finance his regime.

It is likely, during the captivity of the Northern Tribes, amongst the pagans, that is where the saying "God does not watch/see, what is going on on the Earth".

Also, after the time of Solomon, "God adamantly, stopped being a respecter of persons". For David's sake, God spared Solomon, instead of striking him dead, as he ought to of.

Because of Solomon, the Northern Tribes lost faith in the Lord, and fell to heathenism. So unless Solomon expressly repented, then it doesn't look likely.

To reinforce this notion, that "The Northern Tribes fell because of Solomon", is seems, from a developers point of view, Christianity contains teachings, that would somewhat aid, in maintaining faith, during the rulership of wicked leaders.

I think, the prophets failed, in correcting the Northern Tribes, because, they refused to address, the source of the fault. They refused any sort of vindication, of the wrongs committed against the Northern Tribes, so those Tribes, became increasingly bitter, and stiff of neck.

All Adventist denominations, such as the Seventh-day Adventists and Church of God, teach soul sleep. So do the Jehovah's Witnesses, a conservative sect that broke from more mainstream Seventh-day Adventists.

I think that's probably the correct answer. I think it must fall into the area of God saving a person's family or loved ones too.

Of course, repentance is known by God alone as he searches people's hearts, so Solomon could very well have repented before death.

It does seem kind of unfair that some people get away with so much bad behavior.

Oh well, no one said life was fair.

He was a molech worshipper (which involved child sacrifice) if anyone did that nowadays and died I doubt most of the glp crowd would agree that they're in heaven. Funny how that works.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69871757

If he sacrificed children, than the WORD wouldn't lie about it. He wasn't perfect, neither was King Dawid.
 Quoting: YAHUZADAK 12181572

“For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom (Milcom=Molech) the abomination of the Ammonites. So Solomon did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and did not wholly follow the Lord, as David his father had done. Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, and for Molech the abomination of the Ammonites, on the mountain east of Jerusalem. And so he did for all his foreign wives, who made offerings and sacrificed to their gods.”

1 Corinthians 5:1-5

King James Version (KJV)

5 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Re: Is Solomon, son of David, in heaven?
So u guys think when u die u go to heaven or hell then when Jesus comes back he ressurects te dead which means he take them out of heaven and hell to ressurects on earth then he tells them where they are going? But they just came from heaven and hell. Why resurrect ten to tell them they are going to heaven or hell

We are not immortals. That's pagan idea. That's why tree of life was taken away. Only immortals will be the one given eternal life. They others are taken away. They die..by fire and the death is eternal. The good are left behind.
Look at soddom. He destroyed by eternal fire and that city is not still burning is it? God is the eternal fire that no one can put out. His presence will burn the unrighteousness and gone. They will be dead

In Matthew 25:46, Jesus said, "These shall go away into everlasting punishment but the righteous into eternal life."

Eternal Punishment or punishing? Know the difference?

First let us go to Malachi 4:1,3. "For behold the day is coming burning like and oven, and all the proud, yes allude wickedly shall be as stubble. And the day that is coming shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, that shall leave them neither root nor branch. . . You shall trample the wicked for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet."

Jude 7 makes this subject very plain. "As Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them in a similar manner, having given themselves over to sexually immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."

Mentioned by in the Bible as “Rahab the harlot."

Rahab was also a Canaanite-who were the hated enemies of Israel. She lied to save the Isrelites.

She was a Harlot, a Canaanite and a liar.

She is in the linage of jesus, and called a woman of faith.

So we see, with God, it's all about relationship, and whom he chooses to reveaL HIMSELF TO.

You can read about Rahab in Joshua 2 and Joshua 6....

WILL kING DAVID THE FATHER OF SOLOMON BE IN HEAVEN?

HE WAS A FORNICATOR, ADULTERUR, AND MURDERER.

In fact when God prophesied about the future, saying David would have a son, who would build God's temple, we see the supernatural arrangement of that prophecy by God himself.

For it says David saw a woman bathing from the rooftop, and ordered her brought to him.

He then murdered her husband!!!!!

BUT from this union of these 2 people (david and bathsheba)came the God prophecied son of David, named Solomon...

SO OF COURSE David and Solom will be in heaven.

Not repent and be saved as he is saved already, God keeps his word. The gift of salvation is just that, a gift.

I think satan will have free reign to do what he wishes to the man as he did with Job's family, unto death.

i say he is in hell.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72266602

OP, how interesting your asking this. Ibwas also wondering on Monday. I dont think he is in Heaven. He turned his heart from God at the end of his life, to follow demon Gods of his 1000 wives. It doesnt say he repented and came back to God (like the Bible said of others like King David and Mennesah) and if Book of Ecclesiastes is Solomons last book, you can see reading it that his heart was already hard. He couldn't truly repent. Its a warning. But it wasnt written in repentance. Also, Solomon is not listed in the Hall Of Faith in Hebrews, where God lists all those whose Faith justified them. I am afraid Solomon may be in hell, OP. Thats scary stuff, that you can know God and still get so seduced by sex that you walk away from Him and then take a very serious risk that you wont be granted repentance for it after you do it. Solomon violated the first 2 Commandments in his last days. He didnt Love the Lord with all his heart (he lived his pagan wives instead) and he built idols to false Gods, including Molech. This is why the Freemasons are so obsessed with him.
