What would Norman Mailer say about gun control?

Seemed like a pretty interesting man back in his day. Always had insightful political thoughts, mainly on the libertarian side of things. I wonder what he would say about gun control (or the lack thereof). Knowing his cynical, anti-government ways, I'd wage to assume he'd be on our side.
