Dandelion wine

Is it sweet? What kind of wine would you compare it too? It sounds delicious.

How long did you let it sit? And...the million dollar question....how strong was it? I've made homemade hard cider from apples we juiced from our tree. I just used bread yeast but bought champagne yeast to try, supposedly that will make it stronger. It was GOOD!

Im an irish hardcore drinker. It WAS strong. 7 days in the pot, then steel filter. uck im proud tbh. It always scared me in SHTF situation to get my medicine. All i know is alcohol, and a bit of pot. I dont do pills. So this is great for me.

Does it have a hint of citrus-y flavor? I've tried dandelion greens before, they've always seemed bitter but I guess you're supposed to get them when really young....never tried the petals. Just wondering what type of flavor the dandelion is.

I made wine out of clover buds once...

Its really about water, yeast, sugar...

The Clover, or Dandelion buds just throw a little medicinal aspect, and some flavor into it.

Mine turned out pretty good too...

I even made one bottle of bubbly wine or clover-wine-champagne.

It'll do the trick all right.
