I go to school there, there isn't anyone on campus this time of year and there is a bunch of muslims here because we offer a solid engineer degree which is what 90%+ of them are here for. Blue eyes went home for the summer so they feel they have a free run of the place. trust me, they don't, they look like scared little kids when we come back

First off, The Wichita Eagle is the city of Wichita's newspaper - it is not the WSU student newspaper, and Muslims have not taken over The Eagle. The university's newspaper is The Sunflower.

The chapel was set up through a donation years ago, and the donor stipulated that it was an all religion chapel. Now, I've never been able to figure out why they even have a chapel on a state school campus, but there you have it. They did remodel it so that it would look less Christian. They took out the pews and put in chairs. Muslims are allowed to use the chapel to pray, as should be expected, but they have to bring in their own rugs. There was some ruckus a year ago about the university buying them rugs, but I think that idea was scrapped and they are bringing in their own. Honestly, most students at WSU are locals, with many being returning students, and if they attend church they attend their own churches. I doubt the chapel gets much use on a busy day.
