Mona intuitively knew the coming operation would require the resources of the GGF to be closer to the Earth than it had been for hundreds of years. While residing 31,000 plus years into the past, being within the same galaxy and solar system was a great advantage. The response time would be greatly shortened even if everything was popping in the 2090 AD Timeline. LeviathanIV was too big to move from the intergalactic space where it had to reside because of its enormous size . . . that of a solar system. So the GGF had build a new prototype, naming it LeviathanV. This ship complex was tiny in comparison to IV but still the size of the Earth’s Moon in volume, if not its mass.

They would be parking the complex by Saturn’s moon Titan. From which they could be within Earth’s vicinity within a few minutes with ships only limited by TimeLine quantum jump limitations.

Just thought I would participate. . . hope everyone is enjoying my story. Do you remember the character CapHead who became the King of the Swarm and Queen Gilda the Reigning Swarm Queen? . . . Here are two versions of them . . . which do you like best? One or two?

CapHead 1) CapHead2 2)

QueenGilda 1) QueenGilda2 2)

You can find the post seen below on page 17.

It was a simple crown with two large red jewels.

The life and death of Mona Lisa on the Moon ."The Alterwelt Chronicles". . 32,000 years in the making!!!

Before the big day Sue and Silver had been discussing what the Scavengers looked like and used the news report from the Collective as the standard of what they might find the day of the abduction.

Scavengers are very tall (8-9 feet) humanoids with thickening of facial bones, bluish to green in complexion. They have massive muscled shoulders, six fingers on each hand with opposing thumb, very deeply set eyes that glow yellow or red depending on the light source and intensity.

They have a second pair of transparent eyelids. They have long arms that hang so low their fingers can touch their knees. The fingers have short retractable claws on their finger tips. Their voice is low and booming and they breath with a rasping sound. Their hair is red or orange with facial hair if male or lacking if female. Both males and female had prominent teeth and fangs on the top jaw, the males were larger. To a human the facial hair is the only obvious difference between males and females.

They wear a leather vest made from the hides of their their prey and ware a bandolier with the skulls of lesser species dispatched in battle in the appropriate number for their Tribal identification. CapHead had two skulls because his Tribe was second in status in prominence of the ten under the Cloud Queen.

Below their barrel chest they wear a kilt that identifies their family affiliation or clan within their Tribe.

CapHead's kilt came down to below his knees and was light green with blue-green plaid squares. His belt was wide and contained his rank as the supreme member of his Tribe. It was simply two large red jewels.

Mona had an unexpected visitor. It was William Rutledge. He was looking very fit and young. Mona was rather impressed with the results of the enzyme treatments he had been getting. William wanted to thank Mona for assigning him to pilot training programs and he was interning with Sam1 and Dr Dearborn in the applied physics research they were a part of.

Mona, however, knew what he was really concerned about. He wanted to know about Harmony. So she gave him an update and told him Harmony herself had asked for a delay in the reanimation process. While he was disappointed, he never-the-less understood. Mona told him she would make sure she would communicate his inquiry to Harmony at the first opportunity.

Mona makes sure she doesn't forget to let Harmony know of William's visit. In fact, on her way to her next meeting she goes by to see Harmony. She leaves a mental image of her visit from William for Harmony and is sure she was pleased to know he is still thinking about her in spite of his very busy schedule.

William's dedication to her for over 120 years is such an extreme love story that Mona knows it is not lost on Harmony. As she goes to her next meeting a very broad smile is on her face.

William and GT have been spending considerable time together. They coordinate tending to the Mules and often eat supper together. GT is experimenting with different food preparations when he isn't working with the Crisis Group dealing with Sprite.

There is now a role reversal. Gourmand is preparing the food and William is his critic. William is quite pleased with the results. His food is often most excellent and he does think GT could start his own restaurant. GT has begun to notice and comment on how attractive the Leviathan women are. What an enormous transformation for this unlikely duo.

GT has been encouraging William to get acclimated to their new world. He tells William whatever was in the past regarding his life is pretty much over, except, of course, for his dedication to Harmony's wellbeing. He is encouraging Rutledge to find a new niche and start a new life. It is exciting for both of them. It is like being reborn.

They have found their rejuvenation has given them enormous learning capabilities. William told GT he was able to learn more things in the few weeks they have been on Leviathan than he had in the past 50 years on the Earth.

Both are learning how to interact with others. William had been a functional hermit for the last 120 years and Gourmand was so isolated as the Mechan King, he was no better than William. They, along with their Mules, are the best therapy for each other; no one could help them adjust any quicker or better.

Mona has similar concerns about Harmony as she did for William and GT. Harmony has seen much through her 32,000 years in stasis. She understands the enormity, grandeur and dangers of the Universe, but little about the pitfalls and complexity of living with a community of other humans. She wants to protect her but give her freedom to experience what life has to offer as well.

Intuition tells her, Harmony and William will most likely become a pair for life but that is still up for debate. She will neither encourage nor discourage their relationship. She knows more than anyone, affairs of the heart have no know limits concerning time or distance.

Destiny and Chaos had now returned from the Mechan's home world, was on LeviathanV and had been thoroughly briefed regarding Sprite and the developing situation in 2090 AD Earth. The tactics being discussed to neutralize Sprite required precise timing.

Chaos and his family wound have to be totally involved and committed. He would be leading the 3D assault and his daughter (Genesis) would be leading the simultaneous Twilight assault. There were considerable risk to both teams in any attack. Sprite had killed 200 million Mechan in a matter of minutes and the most power Demon of all (Beelzebub) was reluctant to approach him. He might be the most dangerous and feared sentient being in the known universe.

William Rutledge had been given the privilege of training with Mona and Harry, piloting shuttle and attack craft in the Saturn vicinity. William was a quick study and was impressing everyone with his maneuvering abilities. So much so he was going to train with Chaos himself.

William was in his second childhood. He had not felt more purposeful at anytime in his 145 years of existence, including his NASA training for the Apollo Program.

Gabriel briefed that the Angelic Host reported Sprite was feeding in the near space atmosphere above Earth at an alarming rate. The implication was Sprite must be anticipating a confrontation soon to include the use of his weapons.

This was very troubling to Mona because Gabriel's intelligence report might necessitate moving the coordinated assault forward several days and severely limit their preparation and practice time.

Sprite was far from stupid or naive, he knew something was coming. Since the encounter with the invisible voice, he knew he really couldn't run.

He would stand and fight for the first time and he intended to give a good accounting for himself. He had never been attacked physically. So he was researching through all the data contained within all the library files scavenged by the Mechan librarians. He had uploaded them during the Cleansing's. Something all the Mechan Kings nor their stupid handlers ever knew or understood. Sprite was so pleased he was now on his own. He would never allow anyone or anything ever to control him again . . . he would die first.

More than even the Demons, Sprite understood human psychology. He had studied them for more than four billion years. He knew how they lived, died, fought and thought. He knew their religions, science, art and philosophy. He knew their weapon technology and was confident he could defeat any used against him. Sprite was superior and arrogant, no one had ever told him otherwise.

Up to now, Sprite had only done what he was programmed to do because he had not yet overwhelmed the programming's power to redirect his wishes. However, with his handler's death that had changed. As long as he did not allow some entity with the correct DNA signature to invoke control, he was his own King.

Based on Sprite's research, Beelzebub could have such a signature, and the next time he came close, Sprite was going to attack with every weapon he possessed. If the powerful Demon was not killed, he would probably never wish to approach Sprite again.

Maybe a confrontation with Beelzebub would drain some of Sprite's power reserves and make him more vulnerable to attack.

Gabriel was personally keeping surveillance on Sprite (in the 2090 AD Timeline) and was curious if Beelzebub would show again. He would normally confront or attack Beelzebub on sight, but his intuition told him to keep a safe distance this time.

Gabriel felt Sprite was a being of considerable power and evil intent. He knew any assault on Sprite would require significant resources and would be very costly. So he watched and waited. Since Sprite's return to Earth, he had been feeding constantly and his plasma envelope was ten times his normal size.

How to destroy him or shoo Sprite away from the badly wounded Earth was the desired objective. Maybe a confrontation with Beelzebub would drain some of Sprite's power reserves and make him more vulnerable to attack. Gabriel sent a messenger to LeviathanV to advise the Federation of the situation.

In the Federation's Timeline around Saturn, there was much activity. There were practice sessions ongoing, mimicking a coordinated attack on Sprite. Mona, Harry, Chaos and now William Rutledge were using the larger Ice nodules in Saturn's rings to make a four vector simultaneous attack on a moving target.

Dumb rocks were the weapons of choice. Through the Sisters analysis, it was determined the lowest tech weapons had the best chance of success. In fact, dirty ice was perfect. Nature had created the best 3D weapon to use against Sprite.

The Ice clumps contained embedded chunks of very dense and destructive minerals. Even if Sprite was able to use a plasma weapon on the projectiles, the heat would only help to scatter the smaller, but still lethal chunks; and could destroy his core container. It would act like a fragmentation grenade or claymore mine.

William was a surprise addition. His prowess as an elite pilot became quickly evident and he was already considered one of the best pilots in the entire Federation.

Genesis was also coordinating the Twilight component of the assault. While she could not see Harmony. Harmony was present never-the-less. The idea was to attack Sprite in 3D reality at the same exact time an assault was launched in Twilight.

The Angelic Host was participating and some ThunderMoths were being considered as backups. She was watching every detail including the 3D efforts. Harmony was so proud of William. Her heart was definitely being won over all the more by Him. He was a keeper.

Scanned and sized Ice nodules from Saturn's rings would be prepositioned to an orbit around the Moon (on the far side) just hours before the expected battle.

The teeth of the assault on Sprite was complex but straight forward.

Destiny and Kat would be heading the ShadowLand participants. Their job was to locate and stay in constant contact with Sprite's Core, no matter where it went.

They would be constantly reporting its 4D coordinates. By using a group of 50 or more ShadowLand participants, any change of its coordinates within a predetermined tolerance would be reported to the Command and Control Center (CCC). Since ShadowLand OBE's were purely disembodied consciousness, there was no threat to them . . . while in OBE. The travelers could be in the middle of a volcano when it erupted and they would not be harmed. They were invisible to Sprite and he could do nothing to harm them and vise versa. No weapon used by either party in the battle would harm them.

The next piece of the assault would be the Twilight Warriors headed by Genesis and Gabriel himself. And the last component would be the 3D assault team led by Mona.

Scanned and sized ice nodules from Saturn's rings would be prepositioned to an orbit around the Moon (on the far side) just hours before the expected battle. Also several pairs of ThunderMoths, some equipped with Twilight quantum modulators, were to be hidden on the back side of the Moon as well.

She had several competing concerns.

The precise timing of the attack was up to Mona. Her judgement in these matters would always be trusted and never was in question. She had several competing concerns. First, whether to allow Beelzebub to approach Sprite? When to spring their trap? When and how to position her forces to prevent a retaliation from Sprite if they were not completely successful? Mona felt even a partial success could be effective, but this outcome still left considerable danger to anyone that dared assault the very capable adversary.

An advantage in the attackers favor was they were all from different TimeLines. All the Twilight entities, except for Kat, Genesis and potentially some ThunderMoths, were from the 6th Century. Likewise, the 3D Federation personnel were primarily from a TimeLine 31,000 years plus before 2090 AD.

For Sprite to pursue the attackers he would have to know their 4D coordinates, something the Sisters felt he did not possess the capability to obtain. However, he could easily turn his wrath onto the 2090 AD Earth, who would be helpless to repel any attack he may wish to make.

Mona had the ShadowLand team deploy. The CCC was getting 4D coordinates updated continually. She ordered the ice nodules and ThunderMoths quantum jumped to 2090 AD Moon orbit.

Then the fly in the ointment appeared. Beelzebub and three of his thugs showed. Mona gave the order to stand down.

Sprite knew the old Demon would eventually return and again try to enlist his cooperation and mutual benefit. However, Sprite also knew the crafty liar was trying to use his DNA signature to gain control of Sprite's programming vulnerability. So, Sprite enticed him and his Thugs to get closer and closer. Sprite had been feeding constantly for several days for this specific opportunity.

Beelzebub offers: "My friend, have you thought about my offer of mutual cooperation? I told you we are patient and I have given you many days to think about my proposal, do you have a decision yet?

Beelzebub and his Thugs were Twilight beings with minimal 3D destructive power, while he could be devastating in either reality.

Sprite thought he was always underestimated. He knew of his dual DNA capabilities. One set of abilities in Twilight and one set in 3D reality. His energy stores were divided between the two realities. He had recently been re-directing most of his energy to his Twilight weapons. His handlers never understood this, but he did. Beelzebub and his Thugs were Twilight beings with minimal 3D destructive power, while he could be devastating in either reality. Sprite thought the very reason Beelzebub wanted his cooperation was why Beelzebub may well die today. Sprite said: “Let us talk and reason together, we must learn how to trust one another.”
