Well thanks, very kind comments. I have ideas for other storylines but this one is keeping me busy presently. I originally did this one as a movie script.

So far no one has slowed them down nor has anyone talked to them, not that they would have listen.

The life and death of Mona Ann Lisa on the Moon, 32,000 years in the making by George B. (All rights reserved Unpublished work (c) 2016 George B.)

Many, many millions of light years away is a Galaxy where lifeforms are based on a whole different chemistry. These sentient beings in no way resemble those found within the GGF. They don't look like those found in the GGF, they don't breath like nor do they think like anything in the GGF. They are alien even to the most alien beings within the enormous diversity found within the Federation.

These beings are interested in expanding their territory and are extremely egocentric. No lifeform besides themselves exist. They are Gods and everything is theirs to do with as they please. So far no one has slowed them down nor has anyone talked to them, not that they would have listen.

You see they believe they must terraform every planet within conquered Galaxies to fit their needs so all life within a Galaxy will be transformed or perish.

"Tardigrades are notable for being the most resilient animal: they can survive extreme conditions that would be rapidly fatal to nearly all other known life forms. They can withstand temperature ranges from 1 K (close to absolute zero) to about 420 K (300 °F; 150 °C),[7] pressures about six times greater than those found in the deepest ocean trenches, ionizing radiation at doses hundreds of times higher than the lethal dose for a human, and the vacuum of outer space.[8] They can go without food or water for more than 30 years, drying out to the point where they are 3% or less water, only to rehydrate, forage, and reproduce.[3][9][10][11]

They called themselves Tardigrades. They were extremely resillient beings who could survive in a wide range of temperature, pressure and chemical environments. They had their preference where they were most successful but were very difficult to kill. They could survive the environment of empty space. They could coat themselves with a layer of glass and fall into a state of suspended animation.

While Genesis was deeply involved with Kat and Mona she was very close to both parents. Destiny, Chaos and Genesis ate together as often as possible.

Chaos worked primarily with the Security and Military operations of the GGF, while Destiny worked as the coordinator for the ShadowLand and Twilight investigative group.

The Twilight Group were 3D reanimated humans yet could still assume their Twilight personas and operate in Twilight at will. This gave them significant advantage over other entities that engaged in espionage.

Destiny could observe undetected the Twilight personnel activities while in ShadowLand and was always aware of their loyalty and adherence to the Federations Code of Conduct. This had been a serious concern for many decades after they were released from confinement and given back their human forms.

Mona had received some disturbing reports of automated probes appearing in one of the more remote Galaxies in the Greater Galactic Federation. These devices were of an unknown design and substance.

Images were sent to LeviathanIV for analysis. The Sisters were concerned and sent them to security.

George and Leo, Harry's adopted sons were immediately alerted and requested Destiny to target a ShadowLand mission to investigate.

All 281 ShadowLand personnel with the exception of Mona were mobilized to blanket the remote Galaxy to locate and document the drone activity. Destiny had organized her people into five quiet rooms led by Tomlin, Lazar, Kat, Dearborn, and herself.

Each leader had approximately 55 members each and were assigned a sector of the targeted Galaxy. The operation was to begin shortly and remain engaged on a rotational basis for the next 48 hours.

The ShadowLand group identified three probes, noting their location, speed and vector. Destiny felt they could follow all three probes and with the help of her daughter capture one for the Sisters' analysis.

She asked one of her team members to notify Kat and Genesis.

ShadowLand's unique characteristics allowed the traveler almost unlimited access to environments otherwise physically impossible in 3D. Destiny, Kat and Genesis entered one of the recon probes to determine its characteristics and capabilities.

To say the technology was unfamiliar was an understatement. The probe was about the size of one of Sue's automated probes. The major surprise was the probe had several living beings embedded in its function.

The decision was made by all involved that the GGF would capture one of the probes to find out as much as possible about the potential threat.

Kat and Genesis were the only resource available to accomplish this since they were the only ones with the ability to manipulate the 3D world while in ShadowLand. They would have to disable a probe and wait until a GGF ship could arrive via the Wormhole Transit System.
