Before the three would do anything to disable the probe they would discuss their findings with the Sisters.

The life and death of Mona Ann Lisa on the Moon, 32,000 years in the making by George B. (All rights reserved Unpublished work (c) 2016 George B.)

The three confederates observed the interior of the parobe. The inside was a crystaline structrue not unlike being inside a geode. The creatures were small creatures about the size of the human hand and octopuss in appearance. They were watching a view screen that had the image of a spiral galaxy they were appoaching.

None of the probe made any sense to Kat, Destiny and Genesis. There was nothing that was familiar except for the view screen. It was assumed the power source was on the right hand of the probe.

Before the three would do anything to disable the probe they would discuss their findings with the Sisters.

The Sisters suggested the best approach would be to embed a cloaked bug that could be quantum leaped to the probes' interior.

This was accomplished once the 4D coordinates of all three observed spying probes were established. The bugs included environmental sensors included a virus scanner and universal translator.

The findings were the following:

1. The interior structure of the alien probes was a form of crystalline methane as was the atmosphere within the probes was primarily a gaseous methane mixture.
2. The virus scan was negative.
3. The entities within the probes had a cellular structure which contained a DNA like substance that included arsenic.
4. The entities within the probes appeared intelligent and self-aware and were assumed to be sentient.
5. There was no written or verbal language detected, communication was assumed to be telepathic.

The Sisters knew they should not attempt a capture of one of the probes until they understood a few things first.

They needed to know just how the probe was propelled before they could disable it safely. They needed to know how the beings communicated with each other and how they sent intelligences back to their handlers. Until this knowledge was obtained the Federation needed to be patient and observe.

The Sisters devised a strategy. They were going to show the probe an event that they felt the alien crew would have to be reported to their superiors. They would then monitor all electronic signals and behavior in anticipation of a response. The ShadowLand and Twilight personnel would be present to observe anything they could. The Sisters had every dis-phased quantum detection device available as well.

The Sisters had arranged for Petra and Tumbler to buzz the probe. The ThunderMoths would basically physically attack the alien craft. Everyone else would remain cloaked.

Interesting conclusion, unless the surface craters were caused by weapons as is the most likely explanation. Also the rate of crater formation could vary based on cycles we are not familiar with. Like rogue comets, etc. The collision of two asteroids in the asteroid belt beyond Mars could be a one time event a few thousand year ago increasing the number and diversity of craters on the moon. A steady state of crater formation may or may not be the rule. It is not the same thing as the presumed steady state, radioactive decay rates as in Carbon 14 for example.

The Federation watchers witnessed the following: the probe sustained superficial damage to the outer hull of the probe. The probe responded with a burst of energy directed at the Tumbler and Petra which was easily deflected by their energy shields.

The interior occupants did appear to react defensively and turned the probe toward the retreating ThunderMoths. The Probes image screen clearly showed the two Federation accomplices returning for a second attack. This time the Probe deployed a force field shield for protection. When Tumbler and Petra returned they received a communication signal from the Probe. The signal was a form of pulsating visual data using colors and a complex flow and mixture of the colors in patterns not unlike a kaleidoscope.

From the Probe an enormous colored light show emanated. The Sisters were delighted and squealing with joy, they were now going to be able to decipher the language of the entities manning the probe.

They were already learning words, syntax and meaning in context of these events. The Sisters had the ability to return an answer transmitted through Tumbler. This was through his communication array in his instrument package used to communicate with the Federation.
