Mona and Harry were on the beautifully green Island known as Ireland. The country was full of forests and open glens where sheep and cattle would normally graze. This day was different. There were two large encampments of armed men. The two groups were obviously in preparation to do battle. One group was adorned with leather and fur having runes and darkly marked painted faces and bodies. They carried battle axes, staffs, spears and long swords.

Their opponents carried the Roman short sword, lances and large shields. They wore a form of leather armor and leather and metal helmets. Their leader wore metal chest armor and carried a long broad sword and bright shield with a red cross on it. He was much taller than his men and at his side was a larger and curiously clothed warrior.

Mona and Harry closed in on the two larger than life warriors. Mona could not understand their language, but to her surprise Harry could. This was a shock. In ShadowLand the two could not take a universal translator with them and while they could understand telepathic concepts and mental images, precise language was not understood. Harry could however! Mona thought: "Boy! are Sisters going to eat this up, my Harry has real paranormal abilities!"

Columba's enemy, a mentor and teacher of his and a friend of the King, was enraged at the inappropriate copying of the sacred text in Columba's temporary possession. Columba felt his effort to copy the text was a service to all believers and he knew it was his duty to do so. Thus this war was about copyright infringement. Had the King used common sense instead of livestock ownership law to decide the conflict, this would not be happening.

What it really was, was a war between the old Druid Culture and the new emerging Christian civilization. Columba had become the defender and central figure in a seed change of beliefs and traditions that would influence the world for centuries to come.
