Pham travelled to Yemen in December 2010 to receive military training from Al-Qaeda Quoting: But Yemen is fighting Saudi Arabia, which is home to Al-Qaeda. I think i'm beginning to see the picture now. Pham had renounced terrorism, condemned Al-Qaeda’s 9/11 attacks and expressed regret for distorting Islam. I think i'm beginning to see the picture now. Quoting: A) Yemen is an Ally of Saudi. They are currently working together to fight the Houthis and AQAP. B) AQAP is based in Yemen and follows direct orders from AQ central. They tried to spread to Saudi but where wiped out by the Saudis pretty quickly. C) AQAP have made it extremely clear that they want to return the cities of Makkah and Medinah to the 'muslims'. They consider the As-Saud family to be infidels and their main objective is clear the Arabian peninsula of American influence. This includes the Saudis who are the biggest allies of the US in the region. |
