This world is totally out of balance because of dominating male energy (Yang = active force; growth and multiplication)
to much male force (yang) will end up multiplying and overpowering its surroundings, leading to destruction.

the world is ready for more female energy (Yin = stability and dissolution/decomposition). Keeping everything orderly and harmonious (balance with Nature, etc.)

-this looked like a survival tactic when our species left our Natural Design in tropics and ventures in to savanna ...having to 'adapt' to this new enviro to survive there (with fire and tools and imagination) -t.mckenna spoke about it in 'foods of the gods'
in the tropics (where for greatest part we evolved) we were in balance -Nature nurtured us -no need for adaption

i just checked to see if there's a simple summary on that link, -not really -i'll give you quick break down

basically its a technique to stop the internal 'chatter' and 'still' the mind, by getting our focus/intention on to our 'senses' instead, ..and then learning to not 'react' to any sensations that may arise in this 'stilled state'
(the chatter and reactions being the result of living in these 'adapted unnatural modern lifestyles we are all in)
it normally takes most students the best part of the course to start to maintain this focus, as the mind is always in a compromised unnatural state (imagination) dealing with the external enviro and has a tendancy to keep wandering off..
its a 'not doing',-a state of equanimity

being focused on our 'senses' allows any embedded undealt emotions to arise within the body (normally as a pain!!), and you are just ment to sit thru these arising sensations until they all clear ...
-this is when the body and mind starts to be at a state of deep peace -stress free
-a stress free internal/cellular enviro allows uncompromised cellular function -which translates as a higher state where everything starts functioning better -including the endocrine/glandular/chakra system
-and if you are able to maintain it, then the higher chakras start working better and you can induce a deep spiritual enlightened state and health/wellbeing

-one of my realisations about all this is that its the state we 'fell' from -where we were when we lived in balance with Nature -where the other wild animals still are -the 'Natural Design' -hence it is mimicing it thru mediation..
