The teachers of yesterday were more mature, regardless of age. They had grown up in a better culture, and they reflected that culture. We were blessed to have had them as our teachers.

In the mid-eighties I knew a girl hs student who had sex with a male teacher. They were caught doing it in the school.

I can't say I know of it ever happening, but I did see multiple male teachers and female teachers a bit flirty with Students. I had a (at the time when i was a senior) recently divorced female teacher tell me it was a shame I was so young, we had so much in common. But as far as I know, nothing happened during my JR High years or HS years.

I think it's impossible for no attraction to be had, but back then it was much more contained. I think it's media programming, there are always movies, books, TV, and music featuring the young student and the older woman. We have the term MILF and GILF which we didnt have back then and it's almost encouraged for women to get with younger men (and women) these days.
