I hope he'll be alright. I went to the TMZ link and saw how they mentioned he's been a recluse for a few years, I can't blame him. I don't know him, don't know what all he's going through and this might be more my point of view than his. It gets to a certain point you just get fucking tired of the bullshit and you get tired of putting on an act to get through the madness around you.

I know people might say acting like that isn't healthy. I don't think the other side of the coin is healthy either, having to put up with a Twilight Zone existence that gets more fucked up with each passing day. It can drain so much out of a person, depending on the person.

What the hell could he have done? I mean I've seen him make David Letterman so creeped out he looked like he wanted to run screaming like a little girl and no one did anything. Must of been one hell of a show.

I've got a soft spot for the little fag. He used to go flitting around New Orleans walking like a jazzed up duck. Always happy and waving at the world. He is an easy target but is really a caring person. Loves animals too.

I got a kick out of someone that was going to press charges against him because he slapped their face at an airport. Come on, if you can't take a slap from that limp wrist, piss off.

THAT made me laugh when it first happened. I think Richard said something like the guy needed to be bitch slapped.

In all honesty though, Richard Simmons is probably one of the most kind hearted, sincere people on Earth. I wish him well.

There was talk on the trash mag sites a few months ago that he was sort of being kept against his will in his home and being administered drugs on someone else's authority.

Maybe his boyfriend or it was a family member. It was a while back.

Perhaps there was truth to those stories at the time.

He was always a "butterfly effect" celebrity. And...always had a lot of MK stuff around him.

I think they are Anna Nicole-ing him. Same weird shit...

I could be wrong but it sounds like he may be suffering from Agoraphobia and severe Panic Attacks that it has gotten to a critical point of severity. I do hope he is ok.

He's a good person. I love him! I had him on one of my flights (Los Angeles to Philadelphia), and he was so nice! Yes, he had his tank and his little shorts on! He and his manager were going to Atlantic City for Richard to give a show.

I asked how I could get tickets, and they said they'd call me to tell me where to pick up tickets. I gave them my daughter's home telephone number since I was visiting her, and before my daughter and I went shopping, I told her husband, "I doubt if Richard Simmons or his manager will call, but take a message if they do."

My daughter and I returned from shopping and my son-in-law said, "Richard called." Then he told us where to pick up our tickets at a casino in Atlantic City. We had a great time! A lady told us it was a sold-out show.

What other celebrity would be so kind and thoughtful?
