The definition of "God" is the real question...

This is not as far fetched as it sounds. This idea was first prosed in the 70's. It has let to the US spending billions of dollars on research. This led to the L.I.G.O. that found gravity waves this year. It also funded the bolometer at fermi lab. If the idea was so ludicrous, these experiments would've never existed.
