What We Republicans know

As a county officer, I've watched as the anybody but Trump crowd of staunch republicans went from Bush, to Christie to Rubio and then to Cruz. Now Trump is the guy. Not our guy but the guy.

If Bernie somehow wrangles the nomination away from Hitlery, he will become our next president. There are too many old guard Republicans that don't want Trump. They are highly motivated to defeat Hitlery and will do everything in their power to get out the vote if that is the final matchup. HOWEVER, if it were a Bernie/Trump match up, from my water cooler talk at county and state meetings, Bernie would get probably 30% of the Republican vote.

We know that Bernie can't damage the country nearly as much as the other two.
