This and similar reports of people preparing for Brexit behind the scenes make me think that the planned outcome is indeed for Britain to leave the EU. Also, the top bankers being assembled in Davos, waiting for the result to be announced to me indicates that theu are expecting a change to the status quo.

The inherent greed of the markets will quickly rebalance any negative effect caused by the UK leaving the EU.

The only pain here is in the short-term for Britons as we return to sanity & with any luck this austerity lockdown will force the hordes of freeloaders to fuck off back where they came from.

Other countries are thinking about leaving and at the very least Switzerland has withdrawn its application. That alone brakes it. We have the complication of Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland who may also like to leave the UK. Other countries don't have that complication.
